About Me

Aidan is an LCSW who works with adults facing anxiety, depression, and substance use challenges. By utilizing practical, evidence-based approaches, Aidan is able to support individuals in making meaningful changes at their own pace. The goal is to create a space that feels supportive, respectful, and focused on what matters most to each person they work with.

FAQs

One of the most meaningful breakthroughs I’ve witnessed was with a client who had experienced complex trauma and had learned to survive by disconnecting from their emotions and needs. In the beginning, trust was hard-earned—and understandably so. We focused on creating a steady, safe space where they didn’t feel rushed or judged. Watching them move from simply surviving to beginning to feel empowered in their healing was incredibly moving, and reminded me of the strength and resilience that can grow through consistent, compassionate work.

I strive to create a warm, open, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I communicate clearly and honestly, always aiming to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll work collaboratively, with respect and empathy, to explore your concerns and find solutions that fit your unique needs.

In our first session together, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard and supported. We'll begin by getting to know each other—I'll ask about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you might have. I’ll also share a bit about how I work, answer your questions, and go over confidentiality and what you can expect from our work together. This first session is really about building a connection and helping you feel comfortable so we can move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

I’m motivated by the resilience I see in people every day. So many of the individuals I’ve worked with have had to fight just to survive, often without the support, safety, or understanding they deserved. Being able to offer a space where someone can begin to feel seen, respected, and not alone in their healing is what keeps me in this work. I’m inspired by the courage it takes to face pain, to unlearn survival patterns, and to build something new.

Highlights

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My clients can expect to leave sessions feeling supported, grounded, and with more tools to cope with difficult emotions. My hope is that each session helps build a foundation of trust, insight, and allows my clients to develop a stronger sense of agency in their lives.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize evidence-based therapies, including Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy & Trauma-Focused Therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work best with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, or the complexity of a dual diagnosis. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck or overwhelmed, unsure of how to move forward. I help them make sense of what they’re experiencing and develop practical tools to navigate life with more clarity, confidence, and stability.
