Frequently Asked Questions

It is important to fill out the necessary paperwork before your first session to ensure smooth billing and scheduling. The Client Portal is where you can find and complete all paperwork.

There are two ways to obtain the necessary documents.

  • Click “Documents” in the top right corner. There you will find two categories: “Requested” and “Always Available”. The “Requested” documents are documents that need to be signed to ensure proper billing and scheduling. The “Always Available” documents are there for your records and do not require further action.
  • When you’re on the Home page (click the “Home” button in the top left corner), there will be a “Needs Your Attention” box. This houses all the important documents that need your signature. Please review and complete these documents as soon as possible.

You do not have to download the paperwork to sign; it can all be done through our Client Portal. Most paperwork only needs to be completed once, unless there has been a change in your insurance.

The Client Portal is where you will start and end all sessions. The video conferencing portal we use is HIPAA compliant, meaning your personal data will be kept secure and confidential.

To log on to a current session, navigate to the “Upcoming Appointments” tab on your Home page and click on the applicable appointment. Appointments starting soon will be highlighted.

To manage future appointments, click the “Appointments” tab on the top left header. There will be a list of all of your upcoming appointments. From this page, you can also join a current session or request a new appointment.

We understand that conflicts sometimes arise. To cancel an appointment and receive a full refund, please call our support team at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. If you cancel less than 24 hours before, you may be subject to a cancellation fee and no refund.

Absolutely. Scheduling another session is easy in the Client Portal. Click the “Appointment” tab in the top left header. From there, navigate to the “Request Appointment” button on the bottom left. Here you can choose the preferred location and therapist. Click “View Available Times” to request your preferred times. This will send your request to our team.

After your request is sent, our team will review it and call you to confirm the details.

Please note that your session is not confirmed until you have received a phone call from our team.

Great therapy is only possible with a strong client-therapist relationship. While we carefully vet all of our therapists, we understand that not everyone will be the right fit for you. If you are not fully satisfied with your current counselor, we encourage you to request a new therapist.

You can do this by reviewing our therapist’s bios here and then requesting a new appointment with the therapist of your choice. Or, you can call our team and they can match you with a therapist better suited for your needs.
