About Me

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys using a Person-Centered approach alongside other evidence-based therapeutic techniques. She is passionate about working with individuals seeking to fulfill their personal goals. Her aim is to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment that supports healing, encouragement, and growth. Ashley believes that everyone has unique strengths that can be harnessed to navigate challenging life circumstances, such as depression, anxiety, trauma/loss, and anger.

FAQs

Through the use of trauma-informed, person-centered care, I have been able to provide support with recognizing how unresolved childhood experiences were continuing to influence adult decision-making patterns. By fostering a safe and empathetic environment, individuals were able to explore early life events with openness and curiosity rather than shame. Over time, this has developed a clearer understanding of how certain responses—such as avoidance, people-pleasing, or heightened anxiety—were rooted in earlier survival strategies.

I provide a safe and supportive space where clients can feel genuinely heard and understood. I bring empathy to every session while also gently challenging negative thought patterns that may be getting in your way.Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and work at a pace that feels right for your needs.

The first session will be about getting to know each other and working to build a rapport. We'll focus on building a connection, talking about what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and seeing if it feels like a good fit. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel understood, supported, and comfortable sharing at your own pace.

I’m deeply motivated to help others reach their goals by providing the right tools and support to meet their unique needs. I believe in empowering individuals to create meaningful change in their lives.
