FAQs

I once worked with a client who faced significant challenges in allowing herself to fully grieve the loss of her mother. Together, we embarked on a journey to explore and validate the multitude of emotions she experienced, ranging from guilt and blame to regret and relief. Through our collaborative efforts, she embarked on a path of healing and self-discovery, ultimately finding solace and empowerment in her ability to navigate her grief journey with newfound resilience.

In therapy with me, clients can expect a genuine and empathetic approach focused on creating a safe space for authentic connection and exploration. Together, we'll navigate challenges with compassion and celebrate victories on the path to healing and personal growth

During our first therapy session, we'll focus on creating a safe and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story. We'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing your goals for therapy, and laying the foundation for our collaborative journey towards understanding and progress.

As a therapist, my greatest motivation stems from a genuine passion for helping others navigate life's challenges. I find immense fulfillment in actively listening to my clients' stories, offering support, and witnessing their journey towards personal growth and self-discovery. This deep sense of purpose and the opportunity to facilitate positive change in others' lives continually drives me in my work as a therapist.

Highlights

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I am dedicated to creating a safe, trusting, and empathetic space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. Through genuine connection and active listening, I strive to build a collaborative partnership with each individual, fostering a sense of trust and mutual respect. Together, we explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences with curiosity and compassion, working hand-in-hand to navigate challenges and cultivate resilience.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, continuing bonds and attachment-based therapy, I tailor interventions to address each client's unique needs and goals within the context of our therapeutic relationship. By fostering self-awareness, empowering clients to harness their strengths, and providing guidance and support along their journey, my aim is to facilitate meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In therapy, authenticity is not just a value but a guiding principle that informs every aspect of our work together. I believe in the power of genuine connection and strive to create a space where you feel safe to be your true self. This means that I approach our interactions with sincerity, transparency, and vulnerability, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust and mutual understanding. Authenticity in therapy also involves honoring your unique identity, experiences, and values. I recognize that you are the expert on your own life, and I deeply respect your autonomy and agency throughout our therapeutic journey. I believe in the importance of embracing our humanity in therapy, recognizing that it's okay to experience a range of emotions, including laughter and tears. Sometimes, laughter can be just as therapeutic as tears, and I encourage you to express yourself authentically in whatever way feels most natural to you.
