I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Rider University and hold a License of Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey. With over seven years of experience as a dedicated mental health professional, I specialize in supporting adults through life’s complexities. I use evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), customizing my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to create a compassionate and supportive environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to work toward meaningful growth and change. I am also currently enrolled in EMDR training and will incorporate that in our sessions as needed!
A significant breakthrough I experienced as a therapist was helping aclient overcome their struggle with addiction by identifying the rootcauses of their behavior and building healthier coping mechanisms.Watching them achieve sobriety, rebuild their relationships, and reclaim asense of purpose in their life was incredibly rewarding and reinforced mybelief in the power of resilience and healing.
My clients can generally expect a collaborative and tailored counselingprocess. I’ll provide guidance, encouragement, and accountability, whileensuring the process moves at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
In our first sessions, we’ll focus on understanding your concerns, goals, and background, and then work together to create a plan that suits yourunique needs. Sessions will provide a safe, supportive space where weexplore challenges, identify patterns, and build practical tools forgrowth and healing.
What motivates me to be a therapist is my deep belief helping people andgiving everyone a voice in their life to live a happy and healthy life.I’m driven by the opportunity to help people navigate their challenges, discover their strengths, and create meaningful change in their lives.
