My name is Dr. Tiffany Leone-Vespa, Psy.D., LPC I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ License #37PC00365600; PA License #PC004103) with over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field.  I have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University, Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University, and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. Originally from Philadelphia, I have proudly called Vineland home since 2008, where I live with my two children and six cats. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy fostering animals for local shelters and advocating for animal welfare in our community, reading, Pilates, and spending time with my family.

FAQs

One of the most meaningful breakthroughs for me is when a patient begins to recognize their own patterns and realize they have the ability to make different choices. Seeing someone move form feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or powerless to understanding themselves, setting boundaries, advocating for themselves, and feeling more confident is incredibly rewarding. I especially value the moment when patients realize they already possess may of the strengths they need and begin trusting themselves enough to use them.

Patients can expect therapy with me to be collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We will identify what is bringing you to therapy, explore patterns and experiences that may be contributing to what you are experiencing, and develop realistic strategies for moving forward. I am compassionate and nonjudgmental, but I am also honest and direct when appropriate. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also helping you challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

The first session is primarily about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We will talk about what is currently happening in your life, relevant history, your concerns, and what you would like to change or accomplish. I try to make the first session feel as much as a conversation while completing an intake session.

What motivates me the most is seeing people recognize that their current circumstances do not have to define the rest of their lives. I value being able to provide a space where people can be completely honest, feel understood, gain insight into themselves, and begin making meaningful changes. After more than 20 years in this field, I still find it rewarding to watch someone become more confident, develop a stronger sense of self, and realize they are capable of creating a healthier and more fulfilling life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths are my ability to connect with people, build strong rapport, and create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where my patients feel heard and understood. I am able to recognize patterns, look beyond symptoms, and understand the whole person rather than sinly focusing on a diagnosis. I am compassionate and supportive while also being direct and honest when needed. I meet my patients where they ar, adapt my approach to their individual needs, and balance support with accountability. My style is down-to-earth, practical, and focused on helping patients gain insight, develop greater self-awareness, and make meaningful lasting changes in their lives.
