Hello, I am Danielle Rees. I Am A Licensed Professional Counselor with 9 years of experience in outpatient settings, as well as school and hospital settings providing therapy to all age groups. I like to integrate mindfulness, Yoga, and art as well as evidence based Interventions to help you manage your symptoms.
All of my client successes are celebrated. I was fortunate to be a part of real change in a client’s life while using exposure and response prevention, I was able to successfully heal a young client from her Phobia.
Though all of my client sessions are unique, I typically engage with my clients from the standpoint that they are the experts on their own life. However, I can assist them in understanding the underlying reasons for some emotions and behaviors.
My first session with a client typically looks like an information gathering session where the client can share what brings them to therapy as well as collaborate in a treatment plan and begin to form a relationship.
I have always been someone who listens well to others and l love to see them meet their goals and pull themselves out of difficult times.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My sessions with you will be compassionate, empathetic, understanding and solution focused. I utilize CBT skills as well as IFS and other modalities to best fit each client. I find it is often useful to discover the best match of therapy to the client as each individual has their own story. I often use Solution focused therapy,Trauma informed therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, Internal family systems, Exposure and response prevention, Mindfulness, and yoga.

I have worked with clients of all ages and feel that I have a unique ability to connect with my clients in a way that they feel safe and heard which allows them to change and grow, Becoming the best version of themselves.
