Hi! I am Emily Jalajas. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Master of Social Work Degree from Rutgers University. I have experience establishing relationships with individuals from diverse racial, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds. My therapeutic work addresses a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD and emotional dysregulation. I specialize in supporting clients across the lifespan, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions. In my free time, I enjoy doing CrossFit, traveling, spending time outside and being with my dog.
Any time a client achieves one of their goals, it feels like abreakthrough to me. Some of my proudest moments have been witnessing myclients’ growth throughout their mental health journey. Specifically, I’veparticularly enjoyed working with high school students transitioning tocollege and embracing adulthood.

I will help you to develop healthy coping strategies andself-regulation skills to enhance your ability navigate any challenges. Itake a person-centered approach to goal setting, recognizing that this isyour treatment journey. My role is to support and assist you in achievingyour goals.

I became a social worker because of my deep desire to help others. I’vealways cared for those around me and genuinely value being a source ofsupport. My goal is to help people feel better and thrive.

I utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing & Strength Based Therapy.

I work with clients ranging from adolescence to older adults. I assist clientsin navigating life transitions and specialize in addressing anxiety,depression, stress, and ADHD. I strive to create a comfortable and laid-backatmosphere. As a Therapist, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are.
