I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to empowering individuals and families to overcome life's challenges. With 4 years of experience, I specialize in providing compassionate therapy and support for issues such as substance use, anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict and other life challenges. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, focusing on fostering resilience and promoting holistic well-being. I hold a Masters Degree from Rutgers University, and I continuously pursue professional development to ensure the highest standard of care. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for my clients to embark on their journey towards healing and personal growth.
Life can become increasingly overwhelming, to the point where we feel that we've lost all control. In many cases, our negative thoughts, emotions or experiences can feel debilitating, almost as if these aspects are dictating our lives. One of the most rewarding experiences for me was when a client recognized the strength they had within, knowing that their pain didn't define who they were. When they realized they can choose to live a life worth living, live up to their full potential without anything holding them back.
One of the things I strive to do as a therapist is to meet you where you are. We will work together to meet your goals, whatever that looks like for you!
The first session with me will typically consist of obtaining a psychosocial history to gain an understanding of how your life experience has had an impact on who you are today. I will want to know your reason for seeking therapy, your expectations of the therapy process, as well as your goals.
I value the general well being of others. I firmly believe that people deserve to live a life that is fulfilling and provides them with a sense of accomplishment and happiness.
