About Me

My mission is to enhance mental well-being while actively working to decrease the stigma and shame associated with mental illness. I strive to provide empathetic and evidence-based therapeutic support, specializing in working with adolescents and adults. In my practice, I address a broad spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders and trauma. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a client-centered philosophy, creating a safe and collaborative space where individuals can explore their challenges and strengths. I find fulfillment in guiding individuals through their unique mental health journeys, utilizing a trauma-informed lens to empower them in the face of life's complexities. My mission is to support individuals as they navigate the path toward positive mental health outcomes, all while contributing to a more compassionate and understanding society.


I assisted a client in recognizing that their feelings of shame were misattributed to a perceived personal flaw, helping them understand that what they were going through was, in fact, a manifestation of trauma symptoms. Together, we worked towards reframing their perspective and fostering a healing process.

Clients can anticipate being gently challenged and guided towards growth, all while feeling heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

The first session is a collaborative process of building rapport and mutual understanding, ensuring a comfortable fit and setting the foundation for effective therapeutic work.

As a South Asian therapist from a community where mental health is often stigmatized, my motivation is rooted in delivering high-quality care to individuals facing barriers in accessing good mental health support.

I believe in fostering open conversations and understanding, aiming to break down the barriers that prevent individuals from seeking help. With a commitment to staying informed about the latest developments in mental health research and treatment modalities, I strive to offer the most effective and up-to-date support. My goal extends beyond symptom relief, aiming to foster personal growth and empowerment in those I work with.
