Hello, my name is Loma Gulley, I have 8+ years experience working with children, teens and adults in various settings. I have worked in Outpatient agencies, In-patient Crisis stabilization centers, Substance Use programs, Therapeutic Day programs, Case Management and school settings. Starting therapy can feel scary. One of the biggest breakthroughs I've had with a client was overcoming debilitating social anxiety. After treatment, this young lady was able to leave her home confidently, attend events and join a sports team. She realized her natural talents and extinguished the idea that she was always being watched and judged. Exposure therapy and CBT helped this young lady to put over-thinking, catastrophizing and low confidence to rest.
I will listen, validate and provide realistic intervention and reflection. Together, we will identify your goals and develop a plan for achievement, breaking down barriers while focusing on your needs and natural strengths.
In our first session, in addition to information gathering, I want to start building an open rapport and genuinely promote you to feel you are in a safe space to process your thoughts and emotions. You should leave feeling confident that we have congruency and a plan to move forward with achieving your goals.

I utilize evidence-based therapies, including: Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy & Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT).

I have worked with children, teens, and adults in Individual and Family Therapy, with a wide range of concerns, including family & relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, social anxiety, & mood disorders. My biggest focus has been on helping individuals recognize cycles of emotions associated with anxiety and depression and overcome these obstacles.
