One of the most significant breakthroughs was a client that was involved in a narcissistic abusive relationship. Through therapy and support they were able to gain insight into unhealthy relationship choices and patterns. They gained strength confidence and self worth to leave that relationship and move on to a successful fulfilling life.
First session typically involves getting to know the person their history and experience, building rapport and a therapeutic alliance to tackle whatever issues and goals they want to address.
