FAQs

I helped a 60-year-old client with no high school diploma complete a 300-page novel for publication. Through our work together, we identified patterns in his thinking and motivation, used journaling and dialogue to maintain focus and integrated practices like meditation to support persistence and confidence. This achievement reflects how clients can reach significant personal and creative goals, regardless of prior educational or life challenges.

Clients can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where we explore thoughts, feelings and patterns that maybe holding them back. Sessions often include dialogue and journaling to help identify insights, along with meditation and nature-based practices to foster focus and renewal. I also guide clients in building healthy lifestyle habits, such as exercise and nutrition, recognizing their role in overall well-being. The process is tailored to each individual’s needs, helping clients move from stagnation to motivation and personal growth.

During the first session, clients can expect a structured but supportive approach:

  • Sharing Concerns: You’ll have space to discuss any issues you want to focus on, providing context for our work together.
  • Intake & Information Gathering: I collect relevant background information to better understand your needs and history.
  • Introducing the Memory Challenge: I guide clients through a seven-day memory challenge, designed to strengthen recall and reflection on the past week.
  • Mood Assessment: Together, we evaluate mood patterns on a 1–10 scale to track emotional variation over the past month.
  • Goal Setting: Finally, we identify personal goals for therapy, ensuring that the sessions are tailored to what you hope to achieve.

I am motivated by helping clients exceed their own expectations, whether that means overcoming personal challenges, achieving goals or gaining new insights. I also find great fulfillment in supporting families in maintaining harmony and helping couples strengthen their relationships, fostering lasting connection and well-being.
