About Brittney Cruz

Hi! My name is Brittney Cruz, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I take a holistic approach to mental health, looking at how the mind, body, and environment work together to support balance and lasting, meaningful growth. I have experience helping clients navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, life transitions, faith based concerns and related challenges. My passion is focused on helping people build resilience, increase self awareness, and create positive, lasting change.

I worked with an adult client with ADHD who struggled with organization and completing daily tasks, which often left them feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. Over time, we focused on building consistency and developing strategies that worked with their strengths. Watching them gradually gain confidence, improve their routines, and overcome obstacles that once felt defeating was incredibly meaningful and rewarding.

While every therapeutic journey is unique, you can expect a compassionate and supportive experience. I aim to meet you where you are where we will celebrate your wins, navigate life’s challenges, and build skills and insight at your own pace.

The first session is really about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, but it’s also your space to share at your own pace. You’re always welcome to ask me questions too! This is a chance for you to see if I feel like a good fit for you.

What motivates me most is getting to witness people grow and make changes that truly improve their lives. Even the smallest steps forward can lead to meaningful shifts, and being able to support someone through that process is incredibly rewarding to me.

    I utilize evidence-based therapies, including Psychotherapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy & Psychodynamic Therapy.

    Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

    One of my biggest strengths is my creativity and flexibility in the therapeutic process. I recognize that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. If something isn’t working, we’ll adjust and find new ways together. I enjoy collaborating with clients to personalize strategies so they feel natural, effective and sustainable for you.
