About Bryon Scholl
Hi, I'm Bryon. I am a full time professional School Counselor (pre K-12) with an endorsement in School Administration and a part-time Resident in Counseling. I have six years of experience working with individuals and families in the school setting, and 2025 marks an exciting new chapter as I expand my services beyond public education. I have a deep passion for empowering others to help themselves. I value respect, integrity, and commitment, principles that guide my work everyday. Continuous improvement is my mantra. I believe that we are all inclined toward greatness, and sometimes we just need a little help. So I'm here to assist in your journey toward a better tomorrow. Let's take that first step together so that you can become the person you've always known you could be.
FAQs
I once worked with a client who one day revealed to me that she had been engaging in self-harm. After a gentle discussion full of reflection and hope, she felt empowered to call her mom with me in the room to tell her right then and there. Since that day, that client has forged powerfully strong bonds with her family and has found a new "love for life".
With me, you can expect predictability, stability, and a collaborative process. I'm here to support, not to confuse. In fact, I'm genuinely curious to understand who you are and what matters most to you. You'll be in the driver's seat and I'll be your wing-man as we navigate the challenges and goals you bring to counseling. Think of our sessions like chapters in a meaningful book: each one impactful on its own, and together, they tell a story of growth, insight, and transformation. Over time, you'll have something lasting to look back on & something that reflects the work you've done and the progress you've made.
In our first session my goal is to create a space where you feel informed, comfortable, and in control. I'll share everything you need to know about me, my role, and how the counseling process works so you can make the best decision for yourself moving forward. We'll take time to get to know each other and begin to identify what brought you to counseling, what you'd like to work on, and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. Above all, I prioritize your questions, comfort, and your decision-making, so you can leave that first session with a clear sense of whether or not I'm the right fit for you.
What motivates me to be a therapist is the belief that there is no greater work than helping others realize their own potential. If I can be a brief moment in someone's journey that leads to lasting positive change, I consider that a wonderful privilege. Witnessing people step into their strength, find clarity, and change the trajectory of their lives inspires me every day. Your willingness to show up and do the work is what motivates me to keep showing up too. Simply put: you are the reason I do this.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is the ability to foster meaningful connection. When we work together, you may find that the formal roles of "counselor" and "client" slowly fade into the background. We're in this together. I bring all of my experience, training, and knowledge into each session, so you feel supported, understood, and empowered. Another strength is my determination. While our sessions may only last an hour, I invest time and intention outside of them to ensure that our time together is as effective and productive as possible. My goal is to always give you the best I can, every time we meet.
