Her approach is collaborative, drawing from methods like dialectical behavioral therapy and somatic therapies, and is guided by compassion, curiosity, and humor. Outside of sessions, Hannah enjoys recharging in nature, exploring new places, and spending time curled up with her cat and dog.

FAQs

I had a client who had been in therapy for years before coming to me. They felt they were a lost cause and that no one could help or would take their concerns seriously. Through a series of assessments and spending time listening to their experiences, we were able to identify an accurate diagnosis helping them feel like they finally had a name for what they had experienced for years, feeling like someone was finally understanding them, and being able to then address and resolve the underlying issues that was creating problems for them.

Generally the process will involve having a space to share freely your experiences and receiving feedback and strategies to help you continue in the direction of your goals. I will balance helping you accept the present moment while creating opportunity and movement toward the change you want to see.

The therapeutic relationship is a significant factor in the success of therapy. In our first session, I focus on on getting to know you and building a trusting, supportive relationship. We'll talk about the challenges and symptoms that brought you to therapy, explore what you want to gain, and identify waysI can support you to reach your goals.

I believe everyone has the capacity to grow and heal and we all need support to do this from time to time. Everyone deserves to have a safe, nonjudgmental person in their corner rooting for them and helping them create a life worth living. It's a honor to be apart of someone's journey in creating that life.
