FAQs

One of the most meaningful breakthroughs I’ve witnessed was with a client who carried deep guilt whenever they set boundaries with family. They wanted to honor their needs but feared disappointing loved ones. Together, we reframed boundaries as an act of self-care rather than rejection. Their breakthrough came when they set a boundary without apologizing afterward—and felt relief and peace for the first time. It was a powerful reminder that healing often begins with honoring yourself and saying,“This is what I need.”

With me, counseling is a collaborative, supportive process. We’ll start by getting to know each other and understanding what matters most to you. Together, we’ll explore your challenges, uncover patterns, and set goals that feel meaningful. Along the way, I’ll offer tools and gentle guidance so you can bring what we work on into your everyday life. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create the changes you want.

In our first session, we’ll start by simply getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brought you here and what you’d like to work on, but there’s no pressure to have it all figured out—we’ll move at your pace. I’ll also ask a few gentle questions to better understand your story, your strengths, and the challenges you’re facing. Together, we’ll talk about what you’d like to get out of therapy and begin setting some goals to guide our work. Most importantly, the first session is about creating a safe, comfortable space where you can feel heard and supported as we begin this journey.

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be heard, understood, and supported. What motivates me most is walking alongside people as they discover their own strength and begin to feel hope again. It’s incredibly meaningful to witness growth—whether it’s a small breakthrough, a shift in perspective, or a big life change. I’m motivated by the opportunity to help people realize they’re not alone and that healing is always possible.
