FAQs
One meaningful breakthrough occurred with a client who began therapy unable to say the word “divorce” due to deep feelings of shame and fear. Together, we built a safe space where she could gradually name and explore what had previously felt unspeakable. Over time, we navigated the grief and uncertainty of separation and the years that followed, helping her move toward greater self-trust and values-aligned action as she built a new life post-divorce.
Throughout the process, I'll help you slow down and check in with your internal experience, offering grounding and support as needed, while we work together to deepen self-understanding, cultivate acceptance, and explore new ways of responding to life's challenges that are more aligned with your values and goals.
In your first session, we will review informed consent, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore relevant aspects of your personal history. This is the beginning of an ongoing conversation, and as our work together unfolds, we will continue deepening our understanding of your experiences, goals, and what feels most important to address.
Highlights
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I offer a supportive, grounded space where you can slow down, tune in, and connect more fully with yourself. I use an integrated approach of parts work to help you understand different aspects of your internal experience and access your natural capacity for healing. I also integrate emotional freedom techniques to help gently process and release stuck emotional energy.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I utilize evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness Therapy, Somatic, Trauma-Focused Therapy and Emotional Freedom Techniques.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my empathic, collaborative, and nonjudgmental presence, where they feel safe to be fully themselves while also feeling empowered to make meaningful changes. I prioritize attunement and the development of a strong therapeutic relationship, recognizing that healing often occurs not only through insight and skill-building, but also through the experience of being deeply seen, understood, and accepted.
