FAQs

I had a client who was struggling with substance abuse and he was a father and a husband. I worked with him to uncover the trauma behind his anxiety and depression. I also worked with his family for family counseling, couples counseling with his wife, and worked with the psychartrist in a wrap around approach to get him back on track with his life. This case was very rewarding to see how each piece of his life came togeher in therapy for a full recovery.

I hope to make each client feel comfortable and valued from the moment they meet with me until they leave the session. I believe each client deserves to have their strengths honored and their opinion heard. I pull from various modalities to intergrate a treatment approach that is tailored to work best for each individual.

In the first session, we will get to know one another, discuss what brings you into therapy and determine some goals to
work on together.

When I was younger and in school, I had an incredible social worker help me in a particulary vunerable stage of my life. I knew then and there I wanted to help others too one day to feel cared for the way this social worker made me feel. I myself have been through challenges growing up adopted and in foster care so I can empathize with many of my clients.
