About Me

Hello my name is Danielle Duboski and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor for New Jersey. I got my start in therapy working with teens in the center of Camden for the Center for Family Services providing individual, group, and social skills work to clients. I worked at a small private practice for 2 years with individuals, couples and families. I enjoy helping people find a healthier and happier way for them to manage all that life throws at them. I have experience with anxiety, depression, grief (prolonged and acute), trauma, relationships, PTSD, ADHD, and life changes. I feel everyone deserves a safe space to acknowledge, explore and process emotions with support when needed. Danielle Duboski, MA, LAC Resident in Professional Counseling, is under the clinical supervision of Jerome Scaturro, LPC, while obtaining supervised post-master’s degree experience per the laws and regulations governing the practice of Professional Counseling.

Using CBT and solution focused therapy I was able to help a client learn how to set healthy boundaries with a manipulative co-parent and not allow them to disrupt her peace when they were upset. She was also able to learn skills to help her self regulate which allowed her to teach her children to self regulate better upon returning home from co-parents house.

Clients can expect to walk away feeling like their time was used wisely. They will have new coping skills to test out and new perspectives to think about. They will feel safe and welcome with whatever they have shared. I love hearing about the good times just as much as the times they are having difficulty with.

Even if you've been to therapy before meeting a new therapist can cause some anxiety. I like to spend the first session getting to know you, what your goals are and sharing about myself to build therapeutic rapport.

Helping others is a passion of mine. And I stay motivated by all of the positive changes I have seen with in my clients. Or just being able to support them through a difficult time when they feel alone.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients will feel part of the process every step of the way. Helping to shape goals and treatment plans for them to work towards. They will walk away feeling safe and heard, with new skills to help them cope.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize evidence-based therapies, including: Psychotherapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy & Art Therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Helping a client learn new skills to manage their emotions. Helping a client find confidence in themselves through self love and care to set healthy boundaries with those around them. Meeting a client where there are each session. A continued passion to learn new skills to build as a therapist.
