Danielle Duboski
Hello my name is Danielle Duboski and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor for New Jersey. I got my start in therapy working with teens in the center of Camden for the Center for Family Services providing individual, group, and social skills work to clients. I worked at a small private practice for 2 years with individuals, couples and families. I enjoy helping people find a healthier and happier way for them to manage all that life throws at them. I have experience with anxiety, depression, grief (prolonged and acute), trauma, relationships, PTSD, ADHD, and life changes. I feel everyone deserves a safe space to acknowledge, explore and process emotions with support when needed.
Using CBT and solution focused therapy I was able to help a client learn how to set healthy boundaries with a manipulative co-parent and not allow them to disrupt her peace when they were upset. She was also able to learn skills to help her self regulate which allowed her to teach her children to self regulate better upon returning home from co-parents house.
Clients can expect to walk away feeling like their time was used wisely. They will have new coping skills to test out and new perspectives to think about. They will feel safe and welcome with whatever they have shared. I love hearing about the good times just as much as the times they are having difficulty with.
Even if you've been to therapy before meeting a new therapist can cause some anxiety. I like to spend the first session getting to know you, what your goals are and sharing about myself to build therapeutic rapport.
Helping others is a passion of mine. And I stay motivated by all of the positive changes I have seen with in my clients. Or just being able to support them through a difficult time when they feel alone.
