Dr. Michael Chon
Michael's interest in understanding the human mind led him to pursue a career in medicine and mental health. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, completed his General Psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, and went on to receive additional training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Virginia for a year. He works with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders. His approach is patient-centered and collaborative—he strives to create a supportive space where each person feels heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their care.

Every person is unique, and I take a personalized approach to care by developing thoughtful, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs. Whether I’m working with a young child or an adult, my goal is the same: to promote long-term mental wellness and help each person navigate life with greater resilience and confidence.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I utilize evidence-based therapies, including Psychotherapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing & Psychodynamic Therapy.
