Frequently Asked Questions

I think to pinpoint one experience with a client is difficult as there have been “breakthroughs” with clients through my years in practice; to watch a client grow, experience a healthier life, be able to function within their home, family and community. To be able to manage their emotions and not have their emotions or other people's behaviors or their own traumas control them is the biggest breakthrough that I will ever have.

A team effort, working collaboratively together towards a common goal set by the client; to have healthier life and relationships. An open and honest relationship that offers communication, support, empathy, but also tough love when appropriate.

First sessions are for information gathering, answering questions, getting to know each other, hearing the client's story and ensuring safety.

To be able to support people to have healthier lives; recognize that they are important no matter what they do, that we all make unhealthy choices, but that doesn’t determine our path in life.
