FAQs

A breakthrough I have helped a client achieve was to release unhealthy relationships with others and how they viewed their self by addressing generational trauma that influenced their attachment style.

Clients can generally expect a strength-based approach, connectedness, ah-ha moments, validation, and the space to being their whole self into therapy- unfiltered and uninterrupted.

A first session focuses on your upbringing, first and cemented memories, relationship dynamics, sleep hygiene, stress responses, and what led to today's session.

I am motivated by being a therapist because I want to be for someone who I needed when I was younger. Knowing where to start on a mental health journey and access to people who look like me is not easy and I want to make therapy a rewarding experience for clients and their systems attached to them.

Highlights

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After therapy sessions with me clients will expect to feel heard, seen, and appreciated for prioritizing their mental health to increase total wellness.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize evidence-based therapies, including: Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy & Trauma-Focused Therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

A client's biggest strength is awareness that certain situations, ideas, people, and expectations placed by others may no longer serve them. Now is the time to deconstruct unhealthy habits from surviving to thriving.
