About Me

Hi! I’m Maddie Tran and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their therapeutic journey towards personal growth and overall well-being. Creating a warm and nonjudgmental space for my clients is at the core of my practice, as I believe in fostering an environment where individuals feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. My therapeutic approaches are rooted in evidence-based practices. I take the eclectic approach and pull from different therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, strength based therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. By incorporating these approaches into my work, I tailor my interventions to meet the unique needs and goals of each client, ensuring a personalized and effective therapeutic experience. My ultimate goal as a counselor is to support clients throughout their therapeutic process and empower them to achieve personal growth. By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, I collaborate with clients to identify their strengths, challenges, and areas for growth. Together, we work towards cultivating insight, building resilience, and developing practical coping strategies that can be applied in everyday life.


    What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

    Clients can expect to feel supported throughout the session. However, during some sessions, they can also expect to feel challenged and pushed in a manner to achieve growth within themselves. We area all equipped with skills and strategies, however, sometimes we need a little bit of help uncovering them. Lastly, it is important for clients to know that they can have fun during sessions.

    What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

    I utilize evidence-based therapies including Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy. 

    Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

    My greatest strength as a clinician is building a strong, trusting relationship with clients. It's important to meet the client where they are, in order for them to reach their goal or make progress towards growth.
