About Me

Hi! I am a licensed professional counselor excited to work with you. I have been in the field 10+ years and I believe that prioritizing mental health is the key to happiness and stability in life. Therapy can be a great opportunity to learn about ourselves and align our path with our goals. My focus is working with individuals, families, or couples who are in need of developing positive communication and connection with others and overall healthy boundaries.


I once worked with a client for about six months who struggled enormously with anxiety and trauma. Through our work together, she was able to face her fears, reduce her anger and improved her relationship with her family.

Though every person’s situation is unique, I generally approach the counseling process from a Client Centered Nurturing Approach to help my clients feel they are in a safe environment where they can trust the process and open themselves up to discovering their new & full potential in life.

My first session isn’t just a time for demographic gathering. It is important that my clients understand that counseling is a process that can work for them, so we will spend time building a rapport and a starting point for their transformation.

I have always been interested in helping others even as a young person. More recently, I have become more preoccupied in the mind and how we think, or perceive things. Additionally, I am the type of person who love helping to translate behaviors and improving communication.


    What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

    During the introductory session, you will have the opportunity to share with me your story, in addition to what you hope to achieve while in therapy. Even if you are unsure, we can work together to figure this out. As your counselor, you can expect me to be nonjudgmental, compassionate, and empathetic, where I create a warm and welcoming environment where you feel supported and respected as a human being.

    What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

    My work focuses on providing a healing space where you can feel comfortable being your genuine self, free from judgment or guilt. Everyone has a unique story and deserves to have an individual approach tailored just for them. My approach allows for open communication where you can feel safe and respected throughout the therapeutic relationship. My purpose is to listen to you, challenge you and most importantly support you in your journey to learning effective techniques for healthy change.

    Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

    I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and geriatric populations in individual group and family therapy. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, social anxiety, and mood disorders. While I do work in a general way with all ages and a variety of groups, my focus population is on couples work.
