About Me

Hello everyone, I'm Kenya, a licensed professional counselor supervisee. I am a recent graduate from Liberty University, where I earned my Master's degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. My journey into this field was driven by a deep-seated passion for helping others navigate their mental health challenges. Throughout my academic and practical training, I have developed a particular interest in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, substance use, and anger management. My hands-on experience through internships and practicum placements has allowed me to work with a diverse range of individuals, each with their unique stories and struggles. These experiences have been incredibly rewarding and have reinforced my commitment to creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for my clients. I believe in the power of building strong therapeutic relationships and using evidence-based practices to support my clients' journeys toward healing and personal growth. As I begin my professional career, I am excited to continue learning and growing, with the goal of making a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of those I serve.
